Two tiers, identical benefits
The only difference is how long you pay for. Yearly is better value; monthly is easier to try. Both include 2 devices.

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is handled by Creem (the Merchant of Record), which also calculates and remits any applicable taxes in your region.
How you get your licence key after paying
Complete the payment on Creem's checkout
Credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported. ⚠️ Alipay and WeChat Pay are not.
The licence key is emailed to you
The email comes from Creem. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder or search your mailbox for "Creem".
Paste the key into the app
Open FaceNest → "Settings" (bottom left) → "Licence & quota" → paste the key → click "Activate".
After that it works fully offline
Activation needs a network connection for that one moment. Afterwards the app re-validates in the background (every 6 hours for subscriptions) — normally you never have to do anything.

Renewal, expiry and cancellation

| Does it renew automatically? | Yes. Creem charges automatically and your benefits roll over. The app also warns you before expiry. |
| Does it stop working the moment it expires? | No. There is a 14-day grace period during which everything keeps working. |
| What happens after the grace period? | You drop back to the free tier: library capped at 100 photos, semantic search switched off. Your existing photos, faces, tags and albums remain searchable — not a single file is deleted. |
| How do I cancel? | Self-service: log in to the Creem customer portal with the email you paid with, or use the link in your receipt email, then "Manage Subscription" → "Cancel Subscription". You can also email support@facenest.net and we will pass it on. |
| Does cancelling cut me off immediately? | No. Cancelling only stops future charges — the period you already paid for keeps working to its end, and then you return to the free tier. No data is deleted. |
| How do I get a refund? | Payment and refunds are both handled by Creem; you can request one within 60 days of payment. See the refund and cancellation policy. |

One licence key can be activated on up to 2 computers — handy for a desktop plus a laptop.
Moving to a new PC?
Click "Unbind this PC" on the old machine first, then activate on the new one with the same key. You can self-unbind once every 90 days.

What is actually different between yearly and monthly?
The benefits are identical (unlimited library, unlimited semantic search, 2 devices). Yearly is $50 (≈ $4.17/month); monthly is $6. If you plan to keep using it, yearly is the better deal.
How are invoices and tax handled?
Creem is the Merchant of Record, so it calculates and remits the tax that applies in your region and can issue invoices. You can request invoices yourself in the Creem customer portal.
